Vastu for Counter in Shop
Entrance of shop is recommended in East or North-east. Do not place deities of Goddess Laxmi and God Ganesha on the right side of North-east corner. Cash counter must be installed somewhere so that counter should open towards North and while locker or cash room should be constructed towards South-west opening in North. The cash counter should open towards the north, the quadrant of Kuber, the Lord of Wealth. Ensure that the cash box is never empty. The shop owner should sit inside the shop facing east or north. He/She should never sit facing south or west, as it creates problems or losses.
Seat of Counter
The owner or the salesman should sit in the shop or commercial office facing towards east or north. It creates troubles and given loss if the seat/counter is facing south or west. If it is a public market, where the shops are facing south, the south-facing shops are no more inauspicious if there are shops opposite to these shops also.
