According to Vastu, locker room should be ideally located in north direction. Everything right from color, size and shape to direction and placement of the room should be correct; else the outflow of money would be greater than the inflow. - A locker room must always be rectangular or square shaped. Also, the height of this room should never be more or less than that of the other rooms.

- A locker room must never be near the main door, back door, a window, or ventilator.
- Hang a mirror to reflect the locker. This helps in doubling the wealth.
- A locker room must never be visible from the bathroom, toilet, store room, main gate, kitchen, puja room, stairway or basement.
- Do not place a locker in the north-east corner of south-west as it may lead to financial losses.
