As per Vastu, you need to sit in the North East room, facing East or North to study. Most Vastu consultants would advise you to face East since it is the direction of growth, progress, achievement and prosperity. They may also position the study table at the North East corner of your room. These directions improve the power of concentration while studying. Make sure that there is no mirror reflection in their room. This may have effect of doubling their work load. Make sure that the student does not study under a beam otherwise he or she feels unnecessary pressure.

As per Vastu you should keep your study tables such as while studying your face should be either in East direction of North direction. North is also acceptable to certain extent. West and south directions should be avoided.

South east is a very hot and uneasy direction with respect to studying. If you are studying in South east u will be irritated most of the time. So the best Direction is east or north-east for studying and for sleeping South east is good but remember to keep your head in south direction.

Sleeping with head towards the north – Bed Direction to sleep. According to Vastu rules, the human body acts as a magnet with the head as its the North Pole. If a head of the person points towards the north while sleeping, North Poles of the body and Earth will repel each other, affecting the blood circulation.

  • Having the space well lit and ventilated.
  • Avoiding a window around the table to keep the concentration up.
